Galicia is unknown by the own spaniards. Fly to Santiago and walk around its old and rainy streets. The trace of St James Way is everywhere. In summer, the uncountable beaches are spread out along the coast with difficult access but clean waters. This rural land is full of culture, varied gastronomy and mysterious towns.


Day: Santiago
At the forecasted time transfer to Hotel. Check in. Rest of day free, you can rest at hotel or start visiting this incredible city, Santiago de Compostela is a miracle of stone work that was born to receive and embrace the thousands of pilgrims visiting the tomb of the Apostle. A desire, a longing made of stone that down through the centuries to today portrays the splendor of a historical and monumental complex unique in the world.At late evening dinner in a typicl restaurant of the old city.Overnight. tomorrow we will visit thre cathedral, the Plaza del Obradoiro and the old city.

Day: Santiago
After Breakfast , our local guide will pick up you at hotel and we will start our Full Day Visit. we will start visiting the Plaza del Obradoiro, The name of this square is said to come from "Obra de Oro" (work of gold),. It forms the center of a town that seems to be a museum. In the Same square we find the cathedral, the Construction of The Cathedral started in 1075, when the town arrived to the climax of its importance. The chapel, Capilla del Salvador, is still conserved of this oldest epoque.
The second phase of construction, shows influences of french Romanesque style, as well as a style that is all Santiago's own, the so-called Románico Compostelano. The Obradoiro Facade (to which lateron were added Barroque elements) and the towers were made at this time.
After visiting the cathedral, and in the other side of the Obradoiro square we find the Gelmirez Palace, face to face
to the cathedral, is a brilliant example of Romanesque civil architecture. Of particular interest are its groined arches and sculpture works.
Then lunch in a restaurant of the city where taste the typical gastronomy of the province and his most famous dessert Santiago's cake. In the afternoon we will visit the Rajoy Palace a huge and elegant neoclassical building of 18th century, located opposite to the cathedral. And to finish our city tour we will go t the Platerías square and Quintana's square, where we will find more historic buildings and also in the Platerías square there are many shops of silver articles (Platerias) which are to be found still today under its arcades.. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.


Day: Santiago - Rias Baixas - Santiago
After Breakfast. Direction to Rias Baixas this part of the coastline of Galicia offers lots of attractions, there are some famous routes for the visitor ,the one we have choosen starts visiting Sanxenxo which is nowadays one of the most popular summer resorts of Galicia since the 70s. The warm southern microclimate allows to get a tan and enjoy its beautiful beaches:. Our next stop will be O'grove Located on the entrance of Arousa´s estuary, O grove and la Toja Island are famous tourist resorts too, very appreciated for its natural beauty, mild climate and exquisite shellfish, lunch in a restaurant of la Toja, this Island is, together with the Island of Arousa, one of the great island spaces in the province., A Toxa started to develop as a result of the construction of its spa. Hotels and sports and leisure centres sprouted up round it. Its natural locations and the peculiar hermitage of San Caralampio (12th cent.), covered with scallop shells, are of particular beauty.
And then continue to Cambados . Cambados witnesses the death, amid its lands dotted with grapevines, of river Umia, which the visitor crosses by the bridge of Estacas, thus enjoying the sight of the ruins of the ancient Roman lighthouse of San Sadorniño Tower and the architecture of San Tomé pazo, and the Pazos of Ulloa are just a small sample of the possibilities which this seignorial village has to offer. After Cambados we will come back to Santiago. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.


Day: Santiago - Baiona - A Guardia - Sta Tecla - Tui - Santiago

After Breakfast. Direction to Baiona, The town of Bayona (Baiona) is today one of the most thriving tourist resorts in the province of Pontevedra. With the charm of typical coast village and an outstanding monumental and artistic heritage One of its most important constructions is the old Collegiate Church, , but the real attraction of Bayona is its old quarter we recommend a walk through its streets to know what are we talking about … continue to Santa Tecla Mountain, in the south-western section of the province, offers magnificent panoramic views out across the Atlantic Ocean. At its feet flows the river Miño.
The mountain itself is the location of an interesting archaeological site. The excavations have uncovered a large celtic settlement and many objects found here can be seen in the Museum that has been set up on the summit.
In the area surrounding La Guardia there are several Romanesque churches we will visit Santa María de Tomiño, which is particularly interesting. After we will continue to Tui: medieval town which has been awarded
by the UNESCO as Human Heritage The frontier town of Tui lies close to the river Miño and is one of the most attractive and picturesque places in Galicia.
Tuy also has one of the richest, most varied and surprising historical and artistic heritages in Galicia. The most outstanding construction without doubt is the Cathedral, located in the highest area of the town. The Cathedral has a magnificent collection of religious objects, many of which are on display in the Cathedral Museum. Apart from the Cathedral, other monuments of interest to be found within the town include the Church of San Bartolomé de Rebordanes (Rebordans), the oldest in Tuy and the Convent of Santo Domingo. Dinner in Tuy and come back to Santiago.Overnight.


Day: Santiago - La Coruña -Wine Cellar - Santiago
After Brekfast. Direction to La Coruña: Visit old part, Hercules Tower and fisher quarter. This tower stands at the most northerly part of the city. The tower is in fact the oldest lighthouse in the world, originally built in the 1st century during the time of the Emperor Trajano. Over the centuries it has been repeatedly modernised and the lighthouse is in working order. It was built by the Lusitanian Cayo Sergio Lupo, restored in 1682 and again between 1788 and 1790 by the architect Giammini. It is the only Roman lighthouse in working order and its image appears on the city's coat of arms. The tower has been declared of National Heritage. In the old part of the
town there is Collegiate Churches and monuments of artistic value as well as Los Cantones and La Marina. The Provincial Museum and recently inaugurated House of the Sciences are especially interesting. After that we will go to the fisher quarter, which represents perfectly the essence of the city, lunch in a restaurant of this quarter. After lunch visit to a wine cellar in the area: We will taste the famous "Ribeiro". Come back to Santiago. Overnight.


Day: Santiago - Mondoñedo - Viveiro - Ortigueira - Santiago
After Breakfast. We will drive direction to Mondoñedo: this is a medieval town whose streets and squares are filled with old buildings, monasteries and churches. We will visit Fonte Vella church that dates from the 16th century, but most buildings, like the Sanctuary de los Remedios , the Town Hall and the Royal Seminary of Santa Catalina , were built in the 18th century. Before leaving this town we will visit its monastery. The Monastery dos Picos which stands on one of the hills that surround the city and was founded in the 14th century. There is a splendid view from it, as from several roads that lead to this town. We will continue to Rias Altas area, this part of the galician coastline, is very appreciated for its beaches, its impressive natural landscapes and for its fishermen villages, we will visit Viveiro and Ortigueira, after that we will come back to Santiago. Overnight


Day: Santiago
After Breakfast. Free day. We offer you the possibility to do some specific excursions: the Fish Market in Vigo, Wine Cellars of la Coruña, or inner towns in Ourense. At evening special gallar dinner. Overnight.


Day: Santiago - End of the Trip
After Brekfast. At the forecasted time transfer to the Airport. End of the Trip.
