This Quijote´s land is wide and quiet, dry in Summer and cold in Winter. Cuenca, Toledo, Avila, Segovia… are beautiful cities where the time seems to be stopped…on the contrary Madrid emerges as cosmopolitan city, big contrast.



Day: Madrid
Arrival to Barajas airport, our local guide will pick up you there, after that transfer to hotel, check in and rest of the day free.


Day: Madrid
After breakfast, we will spend all the day in two of the most important museums of the city, in the morning we will visit Museo del Prado. Without doubt this is one of the best museums of the world since it opened in 1819, this massive collection is a testament to the centuries of devotion to art accumulation by the Spanish monarchy and church, and to the attitudes prevalent in the age of enlightenment when the Prado was conceived.
The building was designed by the neo-classic architect Juan de Villanueva, and is located on the Paseo del Prado, in one of Madrid's most attractive areas.
After that, lunch in a city center’s restaurant and in the afternoon we will go to the Thiessen’s Museum, this fabulous collection of paintings is housed in the Palacio de Villahermosa (19th century), which was completely
remodelled by the architect Rafael Moneo specifically to house its nearly 800 paintings. world's finest private art collections.
This collection complements the Prado Museum, filling in gaps present in it. In the formers case this includes fine examples of Italian primitives and works from the English, Dutch and German schools. The modern collection include impressionist, expressionist as well as European and American paintings from the latter half of the 20th century.
In the evening, we suggest to visit Museo Reina Sofia and Museo Thyssen: It will be the perfect complement to finish this intensive museum journey. Overnight.


Day: Madrid – El Escorial – Segovia - Madrid
After breakfast our local guide will pick up you at hotel and we will drive to San Lorenzo del Escorial, located at 50 Km from Madrid. There we will visit its monastery and palace, considered one of the finest edifices in Europe. Built in the sixteenth century as the monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial by Philip II to commemorate the Spanish victory over the French at Saint-Quentin (1557). The somber and massive pile of granite buildings, including monastery, church, royal palace, mausoleum, college, and library, form a quadrangle with towers rising from the corners. The Escorial has an art collection that includes paintings by Velázquez,

Ribera, El Greco, and Tintoretto.
After that, lunch in a restaurant of the town and, in the afternoon we will visit Segovia. Home of one of the most important Roman edification in Spain. Impressive of an splendid stand, the monumental size of the Roman aqueduct has become the icon of this millennial city. Segovia is its walls, its great plaza, its cathedral, its Romanesque churches, its convents, its narrow streets, and its splendid mansions. It has been and is the meeting point of cultures down through the millennia: Roman, Arabic, Jewish and Christian. After visiting the city, at late evening dinner in a typical restaurant of Segovia and return to Madrid. Overnight.


Day: Madrid – Avila – Madrid

After breakfast we will drive to Avila, this is a monumental city plenty of history, conserving the same spirit that it had in the medieval age, its city walls are the symbolical emblem of Ávila, and contribute to the defining image of the warring and monastic center that the city was and has been able to maintain throughout the years. It constitutes a unique symbol that encloses within its walls mysticism and history, art and heroic chivalry.
Avila is a city of contrasts, the hustle and bustle of the Mercado (market) contrasts with the quiet
repose of the temples and its cloisters. Churches, convents, and hermit; beautiful palaces and the impressive cathedral provide Ávila's character and identity.
We will stay in Avila until the evening, then we will come back to Madrid where we have prepared to you a special dinner with flamenco show. Overnight.



Day: Madrid – Cuenca – Ciudad Encantada – Cuenca
After breakfast our local guide will pick up you at hotel and we will drive to Cuenca. Places to visit: the Cathedral, a gothic - Norman style building considered one of the jewels of the castilian architecture built in the thirteenth century,
Later we will go to The hanging houses, the most emblematic buildings of the city are an example of the Cuencan gothic architecture, .
After the lunch we will visit La Ciudad Encantada located at 36 Km. distance from Cuenca, an impressive natural landscape formed by almost 20 Km of extension, forming a fantastic labyrinth of squares, bridges and strange and capricious figures, that the nature built approximately in the secondary era, at late evening return to Cuenca, dinner and Overnight.


Day: Cuenca – Aranjuez - Toledo – Madrid
After Breakfast we will drive direction to Aranjuez, a monumental city located at 150 Km distance from Cuenca, once arrived there, visit the Royal Palace, built in the sixteenth – seventeenth century, Aranjuez is famous for his impressive gardens, we recommend to visit the gardens of La Isla, and the gardens of El Príncipe. Other interesting places in the city are the old quarter, which is considered an important historic-artistic area. and la Plaza Barroca de San Antonio.
After the visit we will continue to the city of Toledo, located at 40 km distance from Aranjuez.
When we arrive in Toledo we will take a local guide and starting our visit of the city we will go to the Toledo’s Alcazar, an impressive building found at the highest point of the city.
The Romans used the Alcazar as a palace and after that was reconstructed by the Christians by diferent kings.Today the Alcazar houses army’s offices and a museum.
We will continue our visit in the Cathedral of Toledo, One of the high regarded cathedrals of Spain,. It was Built in the VI century and transformed into a mesquite during the Muslims domination, all the structure was built in gothic style.
After that we will visit the Greco’s House ,where there are
exhibited 20 of the best known paintings of this famous painter, El Greco, as well as the other his famous contemporary artists of the Toledan school.
Once done this visits, we will go to Madrid. Overnight.


Day: Madrid
We propose a full day in Madrid: the old quarter with its Plaza del Sol, its narrow streets, its Plaza Mayor... A walking tour in the lively Madrid is the most suitable way to know the Captial of Spain. In the evening, Gran Via St. and the elegant shops of Salamanca District are the best areas for shopping or simply sit down in the uncountable terraces. Madrid is its people. Overnight.


Day: Madrid – End of the Trip
After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule you will have free time. Transfer to the airport. End of the trip.
